It sounds counterintuitive, but it’s true: our midweek rates are low enough that a full house at The Terrace Windermere, split across a team who each get their own room, regularly works out cheaper than booking somewhere with fewer bedrooms, where the same crew would have to double up and share. Every house in our portfolio has private, off-road parking that’s out of sight from the road, so the van and everything in it stays put until morning. We’ve also got EV chargers on site, so an electric van or work vehicle can charge up overnight ready for the next day.

Paperwork, timesheets, site reports, calls back to the office — it all still has to happen after the tools go down. Every house has superfast wifi and big tables to spread out at, so the team can get the admin done properly in the evening rather than hunched over a laptop on a hotel bed.

After a full day on site, coming back to a hot tub and a cinema room beats a poky hotel room every time. Every one of our houses has both — somewhere to actually switch off in the evening, not just sleep and start again.
