Welcome to the official home The Terrace, Windermere, a collection of luxury 4-star holiday cottages in Windermere for large groups. We’re listed on a lot of websites out there. Not all of them carry a link to us (due to policy) however, you’ve found us – well done!
As owners, we try to keep this site as fresh and up-to-date as possible, so the information and photographs on here may be different to our other listings. Which hopefully will help you figure out which house is right for your party.
When you are ready to book the process is simple. Press BOOK NOW at the top of the page and get going. We take Visa or Mastercard payments only. By booking direct you’ll be guaranteed the best rate.

Our manager Liz is available by phone and email to help solve any problems you may have while staying. Liz also is there to help you organise your break, Liz can put you in touch with outside caterers florists or outside caterers. She’ll also be able to advise on where to go and where to eat etc.

We are very clear in our cancelation policy. The 25% deposit in non-refundable. Once the final balance is paid (56 days before arrival that also becomes non-refundable. We offer cancellation cover through our partner X-Cover (please read their terms before going ahead)..

Our properties are all about bringing big groups of friends and family to have the best of times. We've geared ourselves up for that. What we don't allow is parties involving guests who are not staying at the properties.
